Copenhell is Denmark’s biggest rock and metal festival, staged each June on the decommissioned shipyard at Refshaleøen in central Copenhagen. It runs across four full days with 70+ bands spanning classic heavy to the extreme, spread over stages such as Helvíti, Hades, Pandæmonium and Gehenna, with huge artists like Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Metallica, Mercyful Fate, Kiss, Tool, Bruce Dickinson, and many more. A city-based setup with harbour-bus and shuttle links makes access straightforward, while optional camping is available at dedicated sites; the industrial setting and community feel define the experience.
