The Devil’s Forest Pub is not accurately a metal pub per say. But if you visit Venice this pub is the naturally choice to visit for a beer while listening to some rock and metal. The one time I visited they play … Rammstein. Actually Rammstein was the only music the played the whole evening. Even when one of the bartenders went to change music is just change it from one Rammstein song to another Rammstein song.
The Devil’s Forest Pub claims to be the oldest pub in Venice. That might seems weird as the pub started in 1991–that ain’t exactly that long ago. However; what they mean is that Devil’s Forest Pub was the first real pub in the right sense of the word. I enjoy my stay at the pub as it has a relaxed atmosphere and good beer. Just the right place the spende the evening after too much walking during the day to see all the sightseeing Venice has to offer.
