Inferno Metal Festival is an iconic extreme metal festival in the heart of Oslo. The festival started in 2001 and is known for their ties with the Norwegian black metal scene. Every year the festival gather around fifty metal bands from all over the world during the Easter.
Bands like Immortal, Abbath, Dissection, Dimmu Borgir, Satyricon, Behemoth, 1349, Gorgoroth, Taake, Rotting Christ, Watain, Obituary, Carcass, Necrophagia, and Emperor has performed at Inferno Metal Festival.
