Arsenik Butik in Malmö is an independent alt-fashion hub with deep DIY roots—part boutique, part scene living room. Opened in February 2019 and housed in a restored 1912 cinema, the shop mixes small-label/designer pieces with licensed band merch, studs & spikes, cosmetics and hair dye, plus a crate corner stocked via local stores Rundgång and Not Enough Records. The curation leans punk/metal/goth without feeling mass-produced, and the space itself is half the draw: gilded old screen frame, dark wood, wallpapers and vintage furniture. In spring 2025 the in-house Arsenik Bistro launched in the same premises, serving vegan/vegetarian comfort food and pouring the shop’s own Arsenik Lager, with subcultural DJ nights and markets (goth parties, launch weekends) turning the store into an evening hangout. Community posts show regular drops, benefit drives and maker collaborations that keep the offer changing week to week.
