Bosphorus Open Air Metal Fest is a metal festival in Istanbul, held at Maximum UNIQ Open-Air. The 2025 edition marked its fourth outing and, for the first time, expanded beyond a single day. That year, the main festival ran across Saturday and Sunday, with an additional conference programme held on the Friday.
The line-up blends international and Turkish acts spanning death, black, gothic, and progressive metal. Headliners included Satyricon, Amorphis, and Lacuna Coil, alongside names such as Asphyx, Necrophobic, Belphegor, Obscura, and Old Man’s Child. With its city-venue setup and defined daily schedule, the festival offers an accessible, compact way to experience heavyweight names without leaving Istanbul.
