CADILLAC’S KISS MONUMENT

Cadillac’s KISS Monument is a black-granite memorial on the grounds of Cadillac High School in Cadillac, Michigan, commemorating the band’s 1975 homecoming visit and performance for the school’s football team. The band made the special visit after hearing that Cadillac’s high school football team played KISS to get pumped for games. Unveiled for the 40th anniversary in 2015, the slab stands roughly 8–10 feet tall, weighs around 5,000 pounds, and sits by Veterans Memorial Stadium near Lake Cadillac. It anchors the city’s self-guided “KISStory Tour” and remains a focal point for anniversary events, including the 50-year celebrations in October 2025. Location: Cadillac High School/Veterans Memorial Stadium, 400 Linden St, Cadillac, MI 49601. As it’s on school property, access is generally easiest in daylight and outside games or school events; check local guidance if visiting on event days.
