Gjøvik is a town in Innlandet county, Norway, and serves as the administrative centre of Gjøvik Municipality. It is located on the western shore of Lake Mjøsa, Norway’s largest lake, about 45 kilometres (28 miles) south of Lillehammer and 20 kilometres (12 miles) west of Hamar, across the lake.
Known as a gateway to the Mjøsa region, Gjøvik combines small-town charm with lakeside views and easy access to cultural attractions, outdoor activities, and historic sites in the surrounding area.
