The Jimi Hendrix Statue — a life-size bronze by sculptor Daryl Smith, officially titled “The Electric Lady Studio Guitar” — stands at the corner of Broadway and East Pine Street in Seattle’s Capitol Hill. Unveiled in January 1997, it depicts Hendrix kneeling with a Stratocaster, a pose inspired by late-1960s performances. Commissioned in connection with AEI Music’s “Legends Collection,” it remains a popular sidewalk landmark. The statue is outdoors and free to view; flowers and fan tributes are often left at the base.
