The final resting place of Rainbow/Dio bassist Jimmy Bain (1947–2016) is at Forest Lawn Memorial Park – Hollywood Hills, Los Angeles. Bain died on 23 January 2016 while at sea with his band Last in Line for a gig at Def Leppard’s “Hysteria on the High Seas” cruise. The cause of death was determined to be lung cancer. Bain had not been diagnosed with cancer and was aware only of his pneumonia.

His marker is in the Courts of Remembrance area, not far from Ronnie James Dio’s crypt—fans often visit both in the same stop. The cemetery is publicly accessible; once inside, follow signs for the Courts of Remembrance and consult the office map to pinpoint Bain’s niche.
