LANGHUS

Langhus is a place in Nordre Follo in the district of Follo in Akershus county. It has approximately 15,000 inhabitants and is spread out over a relatively large area totaling 4.4 km². Langhus covers the areas of Bøleråsen, Stenfelt, Langhus, and Vevelstad. Langhus was previously its own locality but has grown into the urban area of Oslo, where it constitutes the southernmost part east of the Oslo Fjord. For metal fans Langhus is known for being the birthplace of Norwegian black metal band Mayhem.
