Louder Than Life is a four-day rock and metal festival held each September at the Highland Festival Grounds at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville. Produced by Danny Wimmer Presents, it spans multiple stages with a broad lineup ranging from classic heavy rock to extreme metal, complemented by extensive food stalls, bourbon tastings, and on-site amenities. The all-ages event has become one of the largest city-based outdoor festivals in the United States. Recent editions have broken attendance records for Louisville, with the 2025 weekend drawing part of a combined 450,000 visitors alongside its sister festival, Bourbon & Beyond.
