Malcolm Young was best known as the co-founder, rhythm guitarist, and a principal songwriter for AC/DC. Following a nearly continuous forty-one-year run with the band, he was forced to retire in September 2014 due to health issues stemming from his long-time battle with dementia. Malcolm Young passed away on November 18th, 2017. He is buried in Waverley Cemetery close to Sydney in New South Wales, Australia.
