Maryland Deathfest is a multi-venue extreme metal festival held in Baltimore over Memorial Day weekend, centred around the Power Plant Live! complex with stages including Market Place, Nevermore Hall (formerly Rams Head Live), and Baltimore Soundstage. Founded in 2003 by Ryan Taylor and Evan Harting, it has grown into one of North America’s premier events for death, black, doom, grind, and related genres, drawing international lineups and crowds. After a one-year hiatus in 2023, the festival returned for 2024–2025, with future editions announced on the official site.
