The Lost Well is a metal, punk, and rock ’n’ roll bar and small live-music venue in Austin, known as a long-running hub for heavier underground shows since 2013. The original East Austin location closed on 27 October 2024 after the property was slated for sale, but the venue later returned and reopened in August 2025 at a new East Austin site. Today it continues in the same spirit as a compact, gig-focused bar space, with a steady calendar that leans heavily towards heavy music and DIY scene nights.
