Kenny’s Vinyl Vault is an independent record shop in Abertillery, Wales. It sells new and second-hand vinyl across a wide range of genres, but it also has a clear connection to rock and heavy music culture. The shop describes itself as a family-run business and has developed into a visible part of Abertillery’s local music scene.
Its profile extends beyond records alone. Kenny’s Vinyl Vault also carries CDs, cassettes, music DVDs, official band merchandise and other specialist items, and it incorporates the vegan Crystal Cafe. This gives the shop a broader identity than that of a conventional second-hand record store and helps explain its role as a community meeting place as well as a retail business.
The shop became more widely known in late 2025 when the large Ozzy Osbourne memorial mural was painted on its side wall. Funded through a community campaign, the mural strengthened Kenny’s Vinyl Vault’s place as a recognisable rock landmark in Abertillery rather than simply a local record shop.
