Black And White Records is an independent record shop in Helsinki, Finland. Located on Toinen Linja in the Kallio area, it is one of the city’s long-running physical music stores.
The shop has a broad catalogue of new and second-hand records, with vinyl, CDs, box sets, collector’s items and protective sleeves among the stock. Heavy metal, hard rock, punk, progressive rock and classic rock are important parts of the selection, alongside blues, jazz, soul, pop, electronic music, soundtracks and other genres.
Black And White Records has the character of an old-school all-round record shop, with enough rock and metal stock to make it interesting for heavy music collectors. Its location in Kallio also places it close to the Hakaniemi area, where several of Helsinki’s record shops and independent music stores are clustered.
