Ronnie James Dio, famous for his wonderful voice known from bands such as Rainbow, Black Sabbath, Heaven & Hell and his own band; Dio, died May 16th 2010. In November 2009, Dio was diagnosed with stomach cancer and died of the disease six months later.
He was buried in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Los Angeles. Many prominent persons, especially from the entertainment industry, are interred at Forest Lawn Memorial Park such as Lemmy Kilmister, David Carradine, Bette Davis, Buster Keaton, Stan Laurel and Lee Van Cleef. Also former Rainbow and Dio bassist Jimmy Bain is buried at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
