ST. JOHN THE BATIST 12TH CENTURY CHURCH

St. John the Baptist 12th century Church is a closed, redundant Anglican church, partly in ruins, in what has thus reverted to the hamlet of Mongewell, Oxfordshire, England. The belonging graveyard is where Bruce Dickinson took the pictures used for the “Rain on the Graves” single and for the back side of “The Mandrake Project”. The location was confirmed on photographer John McMurtrie Instagram account.

On the cross behind Bruce Dickinson it says: “Place Perfect Peace”. The grave belongs to Sarah Benson.
