Valhalla Beer Bar is Zagreb’s metal-friendly Viking themed craft-beer hideout just off the main square: a compact, brick-and-neon room with heavy playlists, a long counter and fridges packed with cans and bottles. The taps are the draw—typically a dozen-plus Croatian brews with rotating guests (recent write-ups cite ~12–15 on tap), and frequent drops from local names like Nova Runda, Pulfer and Maskeron. After a short closure, it reopened closer to the centre in 2025, keeping the same lifer vibe: below-average-for-centre prices, knowledgeable staff, and a mixed crowd of locals and travelling metalheads pre/post-gig. The place have on outdoors area where you can enjoy your beer when the weather is nice. The bar inside is nicely decorated with viking and metal decor.
