Jezebel’s Night Club closed down in 1993.
A legendary Southland rock and metal venue of the 1980s, Jezebel’s Night Club stood at 125 N State College Blvd in Anaheim and operated from around 1985 until its closure in 1993. It’s best remembered for its high-energy club shows and for hosting major acts on an intimate stage — most famously Metallica’s “secret” Damage Inc. tour date on 9 November 1986, when they were announced only as a surprise act after Metal Church’s set, and Megadeth’s appearances, including one on 22 November 1987. The building later became a different nightclub and restaurant, but Jezebel’s remains a landmark in Orange County’s heavy music history.
