CADILLAC

Cadillac is a small lakeside city in Michigan’s northern Lower Peninsula, set between Lake Cadillac and Lake Mitchell and backed by forests and trails. The compact centre has brick-fronted shops, cafés and bars around the courthouse square, with easy walks along the waterfront and a canal linking the two lakes. Outdoor options are the main draw: boating and swimming in summer, cycling on the White Pine Trail, and skiing at Caberfae Peaks in winter, plus fishing year-round. It’s also known for KISS-themed anniversary events at the high school’s Veterans Memorial Stadium, home to the city’s black-granite monument.
