The Jimi Hendrix Flat occupies the top floor of 23 Brook Street, where Jimi Hendrix lived in 1968–69 with Kathy Etchingham. It forms part of the Handel Hendrix House museum alongside Handel’s adjoining home at 25 Brook Street; one ticket admits visitors to both. The main room is presented as a period recreation, with displays on Hendrix’s London life, influences and legacy.
Standard opening hours are Wed–Sun 10:00–17:00 (last entry 16:00), but times and closures vary—check the official site before visiting. The site reopened in May 2023 after a major restoration.
An English Heritage blue plaque marks 23 Brook Street. Hendrix described the flat as “the only home I ever had.” Listings occasionally include guided tours and late openings linked to special programmes.
