Metallica played Solnahallen on 26 September 1986 on the Damage Inc. tour; it proved to be bassist Cliff Burton’s last show before his fatal bus accident early the next morning. Setlists and retrospectives confirm the date and venue, with the Stockholm gig now a touchstone in band history.

Europe filmed their signature video at Solnahallen using footage from two hometown concerts on 26–27 May 1986 (plus sound-check material). The hall even appears from above in the clip, with the band’s logo and “-86” painted on the roof visible in helicopter shots.
