Ace of Spades Club is a rock and metal live music venue in Bogotá, Colombia. Located on Avenida Boyacá, it is one of the city’s dedicated venues for heavy music and uses the slogan “La casa del Rock y Metal de Colombia”.
The venue has a compact two-level layout, with a main floor, balcony and clear views towards the stage. This gives concerts a close and energetic atmosphere, with the audience packed into a smaller room rather than spread across a large theatre or arena.
Ace of Spades Club’s programme is centred on rock, hard rock, heavy metal and extreme metal. Its calendar includes both Colombian bands and international touring acts, with shows covering thrash metal, gothic rock, doom, power metal, black metal, death metal, industrial and related styles.
Bands that have played or been listed for Ace of Spades Club include 1349, The 69 Eyes, Testament, Dogma, Paradise Lost, Sirenia, Rotting Christ, Fear Factory, Pentagram, Benediction, Mortiis and Hellripper. This gives the venue a strong role in Bogotá’s current rock and metal concert scene.
The combination of a dedicated heavy music profile, two-level concert room, active booking calendar and regular international metal shows makes Ace of Spades Club one of Bogotá’s main venues for rock and metal.
