Bambi Galore is an underground live music club in Hamburg, Germany. Located beneath Kulturpalast Billstedt on Öjendorfer Weg, it opened in 2004 and occupies a former water bunker in the eastern part of the city.
The venue is small and intimate, with a capacity of around 100 to 200 people. Its bunker setting gives the room a distinctive character, with thick concrete walls and a vaulted structure that make concerts feel close and enclosed. This physical setting is a major part of Bambi Galore’s identity.
The programme focuses strongly on metal, punk, hardcore and underground rock. Bambi Galore has hosted local bands, touring acts, release shows, metal nights, punk events and band contests, giving smaller and mid-level underground acts a stage outside Hamburg’s larger central venues.
Bands that have played Bambi Galore include Sabbat, Stormwarrior, Steel Shock, Arroganz, Dehuman Reign, Demored, Ashen Tomb, Antagonizor and Midnatt. The venue has also hosted events under banners such as Revolt!, reflecting its regular connection to Hamburg’s heavy music scene.
Bambi Galore forms part of Kulturpalast Billstedt, a wider cultural centre for Hamburg’s eastern districts. This gives the club a local community setting as well as an underground music identity, with loud shows taking place inside a former bunker beneath a larger neighbourhood culture house.
