The Black Sabbath Bench is a tribute installation celebrating the legendary Birmingham metal band, Black Sabbath. It is located on Broad Street, above the bridge on Canal Street — a bridge that is also named after the band. The bench features sculpted icons of the band’s four founding members and has become a major attraction for metal fans from around the world.
Following Ozzy Osbourne’s death on July 22, 2025, the bench became a focal point for fans wishing to pay their respects to the heavy metal legend. On the day of Ozzy’s funeral, July 30, 2025, the bench was completely covered with flowers, forming a towering tribute.
