Black Sabbath Graffiti is a large tribute to Black Sabbath located on Rea Street in Digbeth, Birmingham, on a wall between The Anchor pub and Birmingham Coach Station. The artwork was created by street artists N4T4 and Wingy in September 2019 as part of the High Vis Street Culture Festival, commissioned by National Express during the year marking Black Sabbath’s 50th anniversary.
The mural depicts the four original members of Black Sabbath – Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward – and occupies a long wall facing the short-stay car park beside the coach station. Its position behind surrounding buildings means that it is largely hidden from the main streets around Digbeth.
The artwork has remained in place for several years, although parts of the lower section have gradually suffered from weathering and later graffiti. The original Black Sabbath portraits and much of the surrounding artwork remain recognisable.
This should not be confused with the newer Black Sabbath Mural on Navigation Street beside Birmingham New Street Station. That 120-foot artwork was created by Mr Murals in 2025 ahead of Black Sabbath’s final Birmingham concert and depicts the original four members across a prominent city-centre wall.
