Blitzkrieg Shop is an independent record shop and music store in Glasgow, Scotland. Located in The Barras area near the Barrowland Ballroom, it sits in one of the city’s best-known districts for live music, market culture and record collecting.
The shop has a strong punk rock identity, but its stock also includes rock, indie, metal and other underground and alternative music. It sells vinyl records, band patches, T-shirts, guitars, musical gear, memorabilia and accessories, alongside work connected to fine art printing.
Owner Tony Gaughan has described Blitzkrieg Shop as more of a hub than a standard shop, with bands, musicians and record collectors passing through because of its location close to the Barrowland area. With its mix of records, band merchandise, instruments and local music connections, Blitzkrieg Shop forms part of Glasgow’s underground rock and punk retail culture.
