Coretex Records is a long-running hardcore and punk record shop at Oranienstraße 3 in Berlin’s Kreuzberg district, Germany. Founded in 1988, the shop has been closely connected with the city’s punk and hardcore scene for decades and also operates an extensive international mail-order business.
The stock includes vinyl, CDs and cassettes, with a strong focus on hardcore, punk and related underground music. Band merchandise, streetwear, fanzines and other scene-related items form another important part of the selection.
Coretex has also hosted occasional in-store concerts and other events, reinforcing its connection with Berlin’s DIY music community. More than three decades after opening, it remains one of the city’s longest-running specialist shops for punk and hardcore.
