Crypto Bar Metal is Lima’s die-hard metal bunker: a tight, poster-packed room that runs on classic heavy, thrash and the extreme, with weeknights for hangouts and weekends turning into full-tilt DJ parties, listening sessions and visiting-band afters. The bar’s feed doubles as a community board—flyers, presales, and “see you here after the gig” posts—so the crowd skews lifers plus touring musicians passing through. In recent years the venue has shifted to a new central spot while keeping the same DNA: loud speakers, cheap rounds, and a floor that fills fast once the anthems hit.
