Eastern Front Records is an extreme metal record shop in Austin, Texas. Located on San Antonio Street near Lake Travis, it is the physical storefront connected to Nuclear War Now! Productions, the underground extreme metal label and distro founded by Yosuke Konishi in 2001.
The shop specialises in extreme metal, with a strong focus on black metal, death metal, thrash, war metal and related underground styles. Its stock also covers traditional heavy metal, punk, noise and industrial releases.
Eastern Front Records carries vinyl, CDs, tapes, zines, books, shirts, patches, rare editions and collectible underground releases. This makes it a highly specialised record shop, aimed especially at collectors and fans of underground metal rather than casual mainstream music browsing.
Nuclear War Now! Productions was originally based in the Bay Area of California before relocating to Texas in 2021.
