ELECTRIC BALLROOM

The Electric Ballroom is an iconic music venue at the heart of Camden Town in London, and has been for 80 years. The venue opened first as The Buffalo Club in 1938, a busy Irish club playing host to a wide variety of performers including the likes of Jim Reeves. In the 1960’s it was renamed The Carousel and in 1978 the name was changed to Electric Ballroom.

In the past decades, acts such as Sid Vicious, Saxon, The Clash, Hawkwind, Iggy Pop, Stereophonics, U2, Phil Lynott, Ramones, Girlschool, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Hanoi Rock, and Possessed have perform at the Electric Ballroom.

Recent performers include Mayhem, Ugly Kid Joe, Paradise Lost, Cradle of Filth, Megadeth, Obituary, Wednesday 13, Soilwork, Amorphis, Exodus, Crowbar, Brujeria, Sepultura, Bloodbath, and many more!

The Electric Ballroom also hosts metal festivals like Incineration Festival, Cosmic Void Festival, Desertfest, and Celestial Darkness Festival.
