Hammerjacks is a legendary venue in Baltimore, USA. It was opened in 1977 and hosted bands like Queensrÿche, Loudness, Accept, Krokus, Helix, Savatage, Megadeth, Saxon, Ramones, Motörhead, Anthrax, King Diamond, Deep Purple, Testament, Manowar, and Ozzy Osbourne. Hammerjacks closed down in 2004, but re-opened in 2021 at a new location close by.
Hammerjacks can be seen on Iron Maiden‘s “Somewhere in Time” album, as the place was one of their favorites bars when they was touring USA.
Joan Jett shot the video for “I Love Rock ‘n Roll” there.
John Waters filmed crucial scenes for his cult classic Serial Mom inside.
