Hellion Rock & Metal Bar Oslo is a rock and metal pub in central Oslo, Norway. It opened in 2026 just before Inferno Metal Festival, as the Oslo branch of Hellion from Bergen, giving the Norwegian capital a new dedicated bar for hard rock and metal.
The pub is located on the second floor and still has the feel of a newly opened venue, with a relatively sparse interior decorated with posters, old advertisements and records. Among its most notable objects is an old organ used by Gerlioz of Dimmu Borgir and later given to Hellion. The instrument is displayed in a recessed section of the wall behind a metal grille, making it one of the bar’s clearest links to Norwegian metal history.
Another distinctive feature is a customised foosball table where the players have been painted as well-known rock and metal figures, including Lemmy, Slash, Dead, Gene Simmons and Ozzy Osbourne. Together with its pure metal soundtrack and connection to the original Hellion in Bergen, Hellion Rock & Metal Bar Oslo adds a specialist metal pub to Oslo’s nightlife scene.
