Idiots Records is a long-running punk and metal record shop and label in central Dortmund, located at Rheinische Straße 14. Its stock spans new and second-hand vinyl, CDs, tapes, and scene merchandise, with an active online store and regular opening hours (Mon–Fri 11:00–19:00, Sat 10:00–18:00). Established in the 1980s, it’s often cited as one of Germany’s oldest dedicated punk and metal shops and remains a cornerstone of the city’s heavy-music culture.
