LEMMY ROCK BAR

Lemmy Rock Bar is a rock and heavy metal bar and small live music venue located at 13 HaRav Yizkhak Yedidya Frenkel Street in the Florentin neighbourhood of Tel Aviv, Israel. Named after Motörhead frontman Lemmy Kilmister, the bar occupies the former premises of Rebel Rock Bar, which permanently closed on 27 September 2025 after 14 years in operation. Lemmy subsequently took over the location, continuing its association with Tel Aviv’s rock and metal scene.

The venue has a compact basement-style interior, with a bar counter occupying much of the room and a small stage for live performances. Its musical programme covers classic rock, punk, alternative rock, heavy metal, metalcore and deathcore, with a combination of live bands and DJ nights. The bar also organises regular jam sessions and open-stage evenings, allowing local musicians to perform. Other events include tribute concerts, themed parties and evenings where customers can choose songs for the playlist.

Among the bands that have appeared at Lemmy Rock Bar are Particle X, Meshweaver, Herzensohn and Flying Whales, an Israeli tribute band dedicated to the French metal group Gojira. The venue has also hosted performances by punk rock band Pushtakim and metal group Danielle Amit and the Band. Its programme extends beyond music concerts to occasional comedy performances and other small events, although rock and heavy metal remain central to the establishment.
