LYTTELTON ARMS

The Lyttelton Arms is nestled in the heart of Hagley, a small heritage village outside of Birmingham. It was recently transformed from a country pub to a premium restaurant and bar.

In 1966 K.K. Downing, from Judas Priest fame, left school at fifteen and a few months. The last year and a half he took cookery lessons at school, and walk into a position as a trainee chef at Lyttelton Arms. Back then it was an hotel, restaurant, and pub, popular among the locals. However, even that K.K. Downing loved his job at Lyttelton Arms, he got fired when he went to Awol to see his hero, Jimi Hendrix, at the Woburn Music Festival.
