Mapledurham Watermill is where the classic and creepy cover artwork for Black Sabbath’s debut album from 1970 was taken. Many fans have visited the old mill to take a similar picture as where the woman in the cover stands. The mill was also a big part in the movie “The Eagle has Landed” from 1976. It can also be seen in TV series as “Midsomer Murders”, “Inspector Morse”, and “Taboo”.
