Nightmare Prague Horror Bar is an immersive, horror-movie shrine in a cellar setting, open since 2016. You descend a winding staircase into red-lit rooms packed with life-size figures, props and set pieces nodding to classics like The Exorcist, Friday the 13th, IT and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre; trailers and clips loop on screens to complete the vibe.
The menu runs with the theme: signature horror cocktails and shots alongside Czech draft beer—think theatrical serves and occasional glow-style shooters (e.g., the much-photographed “Zombie Embryo” shot). It’s more spectacle bar than quiet pub, built for photos, sing-along soundtracks and late sessions.
Scene tie-ins pop up periodically (pre/afterparties for heavy/occult festivals, one-off DJ nights), and there’s an arcade nook amid the mannequins and gore-detailed décor. Overall: a playful, tongue-in-cheek haunt that’s as much attraction as bar for horror and rock fans.
