On The Rocks is a live music bar, restaurant and party venue in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Located on Jasper Avenue on the west side of Downtown Edmonton, it has been showcasing local live music since June 2006.
The venue combines restaurant service, drinks and late-night entertainment with a clear rock-oriented identity. Its programme includes live bands, DJs, karaoke, salsa nights, party bands and showcase nights, with local acts and weekend cover bands forming a regular part of the atmosphere.
The rock profile is also visible in the décor. Above the bar area, numerous electric guitars hang from the ceiling, while the walls include signed cymbals, drumheads and guitars. Much of the venue’s public image also centres on food, making On The Rocks a combination of restaurant, rock bar and live music room rather than only a drinking spot.
