OUNDLE SCHOOL

Oundle School is a public school for pupils 11–18 situated in the market town of Oundle in Northamptonshire, England. This is the famous school Bruce Dickinson of Iron Maiden attended when he turned 13. There, he fell in love with hard rock, fencing and wargames. But the reason the school is so famous for Iron Maiden-fans is because his education was cut short due to the now-infamous “baked beans incident.” After being flogged by his housemaster, Dickinson and a classmate snuck into the kitchen to add a “special ingredient” to the administrator’s dinner. To make a long story short; Dickinson was expelled from Oundle for participating in a prank in which he urinated in the headmaster’s dinner.
