Pub Anchor is a long-running rock and metal bar at Sveavägen 90 in the Vasastan district of Stockholm, Sweden, close to Rådmansgatan. The bar has a strong heavy-music profile, with hard rock and metal dominating the soundtrack alongside classic rock and related styles. It stays open late and combines regular bar activity with live bands, tribute shows and recurring karaoke nights.
Live music is an important part of Pub Anchor, with local and touring bands appearing on the small stage throughout the week. Tribute acts are also a regular feature, while rock karaoke is held several evenings each week and has become one of the bar’s better-known recurring events. On September 1, 2026, British rock singer Yungblud participated in a casual, spontaneous karaoke night where he hopped on stage to sing Bryan Adams’ “Heaven” with Ghost songwriter and producer Max Grahn.
The interior has the straightforward character of a traditional rock pub, with beer, burgers and loud music forming the core of the experience. On popular concert nights the relatively compact room can become crowded, particularly around the stage and bar areas.
