Rockcafe Brown Sugar is Nuremberg’s oldest rock bar (est. 1987), nicknamed “the Sugar,” with a Rolling Stones–leaning identity — the tongue logo is everywhere and the name nods to “Brown Sugar.” Inside it’s wall-to-wall rock décor: guitars, posters and memorabilia, darts and pinball, plus a long bar that flips from daytime snacks and mellow tunes to louder evening sets and weekend party energy. Summertime usually adds an outdoor spill-out, and the soundtrack runs classic rock through hard rock/metal with DJ nights and scene meet-ups. A faithful, mixed crowd and a straight-up, old-school vibe.
