Sala Revólver is a small live music venue and rock bar at Calle Victorio 36 in central Murcia, Spain. Opened in September 2006, it is located in the city’s traditional Las Tascas nightlife area, close to the University of Murcia’s La Merced campus. The room has a capacity of around 120 people, with a small stage positioned only a short distance from the bar, creating a particularly intimate setting for live shows.
The interior is simple and strongly rooted in rock culture. One of its most distinctive features is the large “Ramones Fan Club” lettering painted across the wall directly behind the small stage, making it one of the first things visible during concerts and giving the room a clear punk-rock character.
The venue has long focused on small-scale concerts and emerging bands from Murcia and elsewhere in Spain. Rock forms the basis of much of the programme, with metal, punk, hardcore, stoner and alternative rock appearing regularly alongside other styles. Revólver has also organised competitions for unsigned bands and taken part in city-wide concert programmes and showcase events, giving local and regional artists an established stage in central Murcia.
Heavier music has remained a regular part of the calendar. Hard rock and metal bands such as Fullresistance have appeared at Revólver, while the Mount Desert Rock concert series has brought acts including Valencia’s Deaf Devils to the venue. Stoner rock bands such as Free Ride have also played there, alongside hard rock events and AC/DC tribute shows.
