Among the most famous ones are: Johan Christian Dahl’s “Winter at the Sognefjord” (Vinter ved Sognefjorden) used by Norwegian black metal band Windir for their album “1184”. “Likferd at Sognefjorden” (1853) by Adolph Tidemand and Hans Gude used by Windir for their album “Likferd”. Peter Nicolai Arbo’s “The Wild Hunt of Odin” (Åsgårdsreien) is on the cover of the album “Blood Fire Death” (1988) by Bathory.
