Jet Bar is a very small rock-oriented music bar in Nakano, Tokyo, Japan. Opened in September 2014, it is located on the second floor of the Ema Heart building, a short walk from the north exit of Nakano Station.
The bar is extremely compact, with a layout that appears to consist mainly of a bar counter, a sofa and a small table with two chairs. It has been listed with a capacity of only 17 seats, placing it among the kind of tiny neighbourhood music bars found across Tokyo.
Despite its size, Jet Bar also hosts small live performances and DJ events. The live shows are usually intimate, often built around one or two performers rather than full band setups. The bar also serves light food, including curry.
The rock identity is visible in small details around the venue. The shutter outside is painted with Ozzy Osbourne lifting Randy Rhoads, while the interior includes AC/DC and The Beatles posters. A window display holds Marshall amplifiers and several guitars, giving the tiny room a stronger music-bar character than its size might suggest.
