Slash Bar is a heavy metal and rock cocktail bar in Rhodes, Greece. Located in the Old Town area of the city of Rhodes, it opened in April 2025 in a space that had previously been used for techno and disco nightlife.
When the new owners took over, they considered playing the kind of broader rock music often heard in tourist bars, but instead chose to focus on metal because that was the music they preferred themselves. This gives Slash Bar a more personal heavy music identity than a standard resort-area rock bar.
The bar is compact and built around drinks, atmosphere and the soundtrack rather than live concerts. The owner describes it as a rock and metal bar with “chill vibes” and the right music at a comfortable volume.
The music includes classic hard rock and heavy metal, with Black Sabbath, Mötley Crüe, Judas Priest, Kiss, Iron Maiden, Pantera and Motörhead among the bands heard at the bar. Slash Bar serves cocktails, beer and other drinks, giving Rhodes a small but dedicated heavy metal and rock bar in the heart of the Old Town nightlife area.
