Savino Rock Bar is a long-running rock bar in Larnaca, Cyprus. Located on Watkins Street in the Laiki Geitonia area, close to the Finikoudes seafront, it is one of the city’s established bars for rock music, drinks and late-night social life.
The bar is built around rock music, acoustic nights, beer, spirits and a mixed crowd of locals, regulars and visitors. Its drinks selection is a major part of the place, with more than 100 types of beer, a large craft beer selection and more than 300 spirits.
Savino Rock Bar is open daily and has a classic rock-bar atmosphere, with music, conversation, drinking and regular acoustic nights forming the core of the bar itself. During the winter months, the outside area is covered and heated, allowing the bar to keep its indoor-outdoor character throughout the year.
Savino is closely linked to Savino Live, a separate live music venue located opposite the bar. Open since 2010, Savino Live hosts local Cypriot bands, international acts and tribute shows, with rock, metal, Greek rock, blues, ska, reggae and retro nights among its programme.
Together, Savino Rock Bar and Savino Live give the Savino name a dual role in Larnaca: a long-running rock bar on one side of the street, and a dedicated live music room on the other.
