Mundo Rock Bar is a rock bar in Fuengirola, on the Costa del Sol in southern Spain. Located close to the seafront promenade and below the PYR Hotel, it sits in one of Fuengirola’s central nightlife and tourist areas.
The bar is very small inside, with a limited number of tables and chairs, but it also has a larger outdoor seating area. This gives Mundo Rock Bar the feel of a compact indoor rock bar with a more open terrace side for drinks and socialising.
Inside, the walls are covered with pictures of rock stars, musicians and other pop-cultural figures. Many of the images show people giving the finger to the camera, creating a recurring visual joke across the room. Mötley Crüe are given one of the largest posters, while other rock and music images fill the walls.
Along the upper part of the wall, close to the ceiling, LP records are lined up as decoration. Visible records include bands such as Death, Guns N’ Roses, Anthrax and Death Angel, adding a heavier metal edge to the bar’s otherwise broad rock identity.
Mundo Rock Bar serves beer, cocktails and other drinks, with rock music, live music nights, outdoor seating and a relaxed late-night atmosphere. Its mix of small-room rock-bar character, terrace seating, band images and LP decoration gives it a clear alternative presence in Fuengirola’s tourist-heavy nightlife.
