LEGION METAL BAR - Metal Travels

Legion Metal Bar is a heavy metal bar at Calle 19 #4-71, Local 124, inside Centro Comercial Los Ángeles in central Bogotá, Colombia. The bar was previously located in the Milenta neighbourhood before moving to its present address. Its musical profile is firmly centred on metal, with death, black, thrash, folk and other extreme styles regularly represented.

The interior is filled with band imagery and other metal-related decoration, while themed nights form an important part of the programme. These have included evenings dedicated to Viking, folk and pagan metal, sometimes accompanied by mead alongside the regular selection of beer, spirits and cocktails. Legion also hosts occasional live performances and other events connected with Bogotá’s underground metal scene.

The bar has further links to the city’s concert circuit through its role as a physical ticket outlet. Among the events promoted through Legion was Stryper’s 40th-anniversary concert in Bogotá in 2025.

Legion is located within a small cluster of metal-related businesses in central Bogotá. Arckanum Store operates at the same Calle 19 address, while Inferno Records is situated nearby, concentrating several specialist metal businesses within the same part of the city.
